Hello, my beautiful babes! I am ecstatic to let you in on a little secret about the gal behind the scrubs and stethoscope. Through the years I've learned that my heart beats not just for the adrenaline of healthcare but for the raw beauty found in vulnerability.

In the ER, I've witnessed the strength that comes with embracing vulnerability – it's where true healing begins. And guess what? I'm taking that understanding, that care for the delicate threads of humanity, and channeling it into a newfound passion – boudoir photography.

About the Boudoir experience

Elegant Exposures Photography - Value in Vulnerability

 A boudoir shoot is incredibly personal and intimate; however, I believe that it should be more than just a "photo session", but more of an EXPERIENCE. As a photographer, it's crucial not only to create a comfortable and professional environment for my clients, but also an empowering experience to enjoy and never forget. Here's what my client can generally expect during a boudoir experience at my studio: 


 

  1. Personalized Consultation:  We'll start with a personalized consultation where we discuss your preferences, style, and any specific ideas you have in mind. This is our chance to get to know each other!! We can address any concerns and plan the details of your session together.
  2. Secluded Ranch Studio Environment: Your boudoir experience takes place in my exclusive and secluded ranch studio. Nestled in a tranquil setting, it provides not only a comfortable and quiet atmosphere but also ensures complete privacy. The serene surroundings contribute to a comfortable and intimate environment. Your privacy is of the utmost importance, and the natural surroundings add an extra layer of discretion, allowing you to relax and enjoy the experience with complete peace of mind.
  3. Wardrobe Guidance and Options: I'll offer guidance on wardrobe choices and discuss any specific outfits you'd like to bring. Additionally, I have a selection of pieces, accessories and props available to complement your style! You will also have access to my studio's Client Closet, where you will find pieces ranging from sexy teddies to pasties to shear pieces of cloth! ;)
  4. Prior to Arrival: By the time you arrive for your boudoir experience, we will basically be best buds and know so much about each other, making the experience that much more relaxing!! Prior to your experience, you will receive several emails letting me know more about you (from music to snacks to more personal matters) and also directions to prepare you for the upcoming day!
  5. Upon Arrival: When you arrive on your long-awaited day, you will meet myself and your hair & make-up gal! You will slip into complimentary robe and slippers to promote the upmost comfort while you get pampered! As you sip on your choice of wine, mimosa or specialty drink, we will chat and go over any final details! Feel free to ask me ANYTHING! I am not shy!
  6. Posing Direction at Your Pace: During your boudoir experience, I'll provide clear directions on posing and expressions, always mindful of your comfort level. We'll work at a pace that feels right for you, ensuring a relaxed and empowering experience. No need to come with any no-how on what to do, I will guide you in every aspect!
  7. Encouragement and Empowerment: I believe in empowering my clients throughout the shoot. Positive reinforcement will help you feel confident, resulting in stunning and natural-looking photographs that truly capture your beauty.
  8. Diverse Range of Shots: I aim to capture a diverse range of shots, including close-ups, full-body shots, and different angles. This variety ensures you have a wide selection of images to choose from.
  9. Collaboration on Your Vision: Prior to you arrival, a "vision board" will have already been curated specifically for YOU. Your input is invaluable throughout the entire experience. Feel free to share any new ideas or preferences during our time together as well! We'll collaborate to create images that align perfectly with your vision for the shoot.
  10. Image Review and Feedback: After the session, we'll go through a preview or review of the images together. Your feedback is crucial, and we'll discuss any retouching options to ensure you are completely satisfied with the final results.
  11. THE BEST PART!!: The moment you've been waiting for! I'll outline the process for image selection, editing, and final delivery. We will work together to select your final images while indulging on your favorite snack, compliments of the studio. The final products will be chosen and we go over when to expect your gorgeous photos to be in your beautiful hands!!

Never done anything like this before? GOOD! (lol) Let me be your first experience! I will guide you every step of the way! From pointing your toes to coaching your facial expressions to fixing that one out of place hair.. I GOT YOU!! If you can follow direction, you can rock this! ;)

Before the day of your Boudoir experience arrives, you will have already received an email that goes over what to wear, ideas on what to bring, props and/or sentimental pieces if desired. We will have a continuous open line of communication leading up to your day and we will decide together, the best outfits for you! I will be as involved as you want me to be! Also, you will have access to my studio's Client Closet where you will find cute little numbers ranging from teddies to pasties to shear pieces of cloth ;) 

Absolutely! I encourage my clients to share their ideas with me for their Boudoir Experience! I want your photos to reflect your personality, style and who you are!! I am more than happy to accommodate specific requests as best I can. We will establish a "vision board" of your boudoir experience prior to the day so we can capture your vision on the big day!

I understand.. like, REALLY understand how hard it is for us to INVEST into OURSELVES. We can invest so easily and effortlessly into others, whether it's time, energy, money or otherwise. However, when it comes to doing the same for ourselves, it's not done as effortlessly. I'm not entirely sure why it can be so hard for us to find worth in investing in ourselves, again whether it's time, energy or money.. but babe, WE ARE WORTH IT!! YOU, are worth it. This is truly an experience for YOU, for the woman that is within. Not you as a mom, you as a wife, you as an employee or any other title we can get lost in.. this is for you as the strong, intelligent, enlightening and beautiful badass woman that you are! We invest into what we care about.. whether its a Birkin bag, the latest iPhone, shoes or WHATEVER! Invest in yourself babe! Allow yourself to experience empowerment. Find the value in yourself and the value in allowing yourself to be vulnerable. Rediscover that beautiful fire that is within that maybe has been lying dormant under the demanding roles we live in day to day. Invest in yourself.

Yes! Girl, with inflation the way it is and the economy not doing any better, I know that it can be difficult to justify some of the luxuries we desire. Elegant Exposures does offer payment plans available leading up to your boudoir experience day! The down payment made upon booking (to secure your day) also goes towards the overall investment!
